Summary
Meg Murry can't help but be worried when her six-year-old brother, Charles Wallace, announces there are dragons in the vegetable garden. He's so bright, and so different from other kids, he's getting bullied at school, and he is also strangely, seriously ill.
The narration of A Wind in the Door is spot-on, with a unique and captivating plot. It took me by surprise that it was originally intended for children, but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying it.
I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. While I can't claim to have enjoyed it as much as the initial book, I was still astounded and completely engrossed by the narrative crafted by this incredible author. I'm eagerly anticipating further escapades with Meg, Charles, and Calvin.
In my opinion, I found that I enjoyed this book the most through the audio version rather than actually reading it. I tend to absorb more information when I listen. The narrator did an incredible job and truly captivated me. The story itself touched me on a profound level, opening up my heart. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment.
