I was completely taken aback by how the storyline of 'After We Fell' maintains the same level of excellence as the initial book. It's still captivating, which is surprising since many similar books tend to veer off into unrelated directions. I have to say, I'm quite shocked.
The book is solid, but let's be real, Tessa shares just as much responsibility for the mess she and Hardin find themselves in. Yet, Hardin is painted as the ultimate villain. Truth be told, they both have some serious issues going on. Gotta say though, Shane East's voice is the bomb. Totally worth using a credit for this audiobook.
I absolutely adored it. I was completely glued to the story and couldn't bring myself to stop reading. My only wish is that they had utilized a diverse range of narrators to bring the characters to life.
This book is absolutely terrible, focusing on a relationship filled with abuse. It seems like the author is trying to depict abuse as something romantic, which is really disturbing. I definitely wouldn't suggest reading it.

My buddy got me hooked on these books, and I gotta say, they're pretty damn incredible. They've got me hooked, keeping me on the edge of my seat the whole time. This book, in particular, had me mind-blown and now I'm itching to grab the next and final installment in the series to see what unfolds. No spoilers here, but I will mention one small hiccup - the guy who does Hardin's voice on the audiobook is just meh. I can't stand it when he tries to do any female voices. It's like nails on a chalkboard, and I'm counting down the seconds until his part is over. Other than that, it's all good.
I devoured this book within a mere two days. I was absolutely hooked and couldn't tear myself away from it. Let me tell you, the ending was a complete curveball and left me utterly stunned!
This book series was a bit monotonous .... I felt it was the same whining arguing and fighting between the main characters and I got really annoyed with it ! Any story line was so slow to develop that I lost interest many times . A waster of money for me as I purchased 1-3, I kept wanting to give it a chance that something was going to happen , some kind of resolve, conclusion . Maybe this is how relationships are now ...very narcissistic
