The opinions on this book seem to vary, likely based on people's expectations. Personally, I didn't have any expectations, so I was able to enjoy it.
Rather than focusing on monsters, the story delves into what occurred prior to the Covenant embarking on its journey. It centers around someone having a premonition about the dangers and attempting to halt the mission.
As a fan of this saga, I appreciate any additional insights the story provides. I also find the addiction angle intriguing, despite occasionally finding the dialogue slow and predictable.
Additionally, I commend the narrator for their efforts in distinguishing between various voices. They did a fantastic job in my opinion.
This audiobook offers a fascinating exploration of Earth within the Alien universe, however, it fails to contribute any significant new elements to the Covenant film.
I couldn't finish this book, I lost interest around halfway and ended up skipping to the end. Honestly, I'm questioning the purpose of this book. It feels like it doesn't contribute anything meaningful to the overall series.
