This book was absolutely fantastic, I was really impressed with the way the author crafted the story. The books I find the most enjoyable are the ones that strike the perfect balance between steaminess and narrative, and this book nailed it. The intricate relationships depicted in the story were the absolute highlight for me. I tend to jump between books quite frequently, but I was so engrossed in this one that I listened to it in just two sittings. I can't express enough how much I adore this book!
This book exceeded all the buzz surrounding it. I couldn't get enough of it! Sierra Simone writes with such a natural talent, as if she was born to share her words with us. Her words are addictive, passionate, and incredibly captivating. The flawless writing and unforgettable characters made me absolutely love this book. The story is truly unique, and the creativity is beyond words. It evoked a whirlwind of emotions within me. Sierra Simone's words have a way of touching hidden nerves and making you experience things you never have before. I was completely immersed in the book, covered in goosebumps and overwhelmed with sensations. Greer, Ash, and Embry will stay with you even when you're not reading. Once you start this journey, there's no turning back. You'll find yourself fully engrossed in this world, unable to distinguish reality from fiction.
I highly recommend listening to the audiobook of American Queen. Stephanie Rose, the narrator, was absolutely phenomenal. She portrayed Greer's innocence and passion with such authenticity that I could vividly imagine it all. Her depiction of all three characters was spot on. From the timid Greer to the vulnerable Embry, and the powerful Ash, her performance was brilliant.
Wow! Just wow! Giving this book 5 stars would be an insult. American Queen deserves a perfect 10!
