  • While I may not fully embrace every choice of words made by the author, I genuinely believe that this book is a divine masterpiece influenced by the Almighty. As I was grappling with a personal offense, this book resonated deeply with me. I extend my gratitude to the author and I express my heartfelt thanks to God for bringing this book into my life. It's important to recognize that God's ways may not always align with our own, but they are unquestionably righteous. Prior to reading this book, I had no idea of the tremendous power held by offense. However, through its pages, I was guided towards the right path to address, heal, grow, and ultimately move forward in a manner that aligns with God's desires. It truly is an awe-inspiring experience!
  • I am grateful for the valuable tools that this book provides us with in our journey through life! The power of forgiveness, love, and truth leads us to find inner peace. I wholeheartedly agree with the author's message. Amen!
  • Who hasn't experienced being offended? I'm pretty sure this topic is relatable to every single person on this planet. The real question is whether we choose to acknowledge it and make a conscious decision not to let the offenses in life affect us. John really nails it when he breaks down the most fundamental aspect of Christianity, which is our ability to forgive, just as we have been forgiven. There are serious eternal consequences if we don't, so this book is a game-changer for anyone who wants to gain the conviction to let go of an offense, as our Lord has asked us to do. I'm pretty confident that after reading this, you'll have to make a decision on how you're going to act. That's why it's an absolute must-read.
  • I absolutely loved this book! It really makes you reflect on yourself and your actions. It's a super easy read and provides a clear answer on how offense can hinder our relationship with our Heavenly Father. The author doesn't shy away from acknowledging the pain caused by offenses, both given and received. The bottom line is that we are all at fault before God. Thankfully, because of His immense love, He sent His Son Jesus to carry the weight of all those sins on the Cross. Jesus was innocent, unlike us. Personally, I believe that once we grasp the depth of love we owe to God the Father, we'll seek His help to heal, forgive, and let Him be the ultimate judge. This book serves as a great reminder of the significance of forgiving offenses.
  • Letting go of offense is a significant aspect of our freedom in Christ. It may be challenging to begin reading this book when you're feeling hurt, but the journey is worthwhile until the very end. God operates at His own timing and always does what is best for you. In the end, God emerges victorious!
  • If you're looking for a transformation, then you definitely need to get your hands on this book. It's an absolute game-changer for the Christian community. This is one book that you simply cannot afford to miss out on!
  • As the Co-owner of a Christian Book store, I've sold many copies of this book to customers. I finally decided to give it a read myself after years of putting it off. It wasn't until three years into my ministry that I began to understand the Church as a place filled with wounded individuals who unintentionally hurt others. I struggled with carrying around that hurt, but didn't know how to break free from the trap of offense, especially as a leader working in God's ministry. Thankfully, the Lord prompted me to listen to this book during a service and I experienced deliverance even before finishing it. I felt compelled to write this review and I plan on completing the book in the next couple of days. This book is truly guided by the Holy Spirit and it reveals that Satan doesn't change his tactics. His goal is to encourage us to hold onto our hurts and let bitterness fester, eventually leading to hatred. However, as followers of Christ, we should strive to be different. I encourage you to use this book as a mirror and allow the Holy Spirit to bring healing, freeing you from emotions that only serve to advance hatred and Satan's agenda.
  • I find it difficult to accept the notion that our salvation is constantly influenced by how well we forgive others. This contradicts the idea that salvation is solely based on grace, preventing anyone from boasting. The book makes a valid point that if we withhold forgiveness, it will also be withheld from us by God. However, the author seems to overlook the fact that God understands our weaknesses and remembers that we are imperfect beings. We cannot expect to forgive others perfectly, as achieving perfection in any task would negate the need for a savior. Approach this book with discernment and wisdom. If you tend to be excessively scrupulous, exercise caution while reading. Don't fall into the trap of believing that we can earn God's love and grace by impressing Him with our human interactions. While I found helpful insights in this book, I am unlikely to recommend it to my friends.
