Brad Thor's overall plotlines in his book "Blowback: Scot Harvath, Book 4" always manage to capture my interest. However, I must admit that I've consistently been let down by the main character. Despite portraying himself as a seasoned professional with exceptional training, he consistently proves to be utterly inept and lacking in both operational skills and intellectual acuity. It's not just disappointing, but also hard to believe.
