This book is seriously the most dull thing I've ever read. It just didn't do it for me, you know? I mean, I like things to be simple and straightforward, but this book takes simplicity to a whole new level of complexity.
I'll definitely give this audiobook another spin, maybe even a few times, as it serves as a great reminder over the long haul. It's absolutely worth the investment!
Although my marriage is not currently facing any issues, I was genuinely interested in finding ways to improve as a wife. While my husband has always been patient and kind, I have noticed that I can be lacking in those qualities at times. After applying the changes suggested by Lysa, I noticed a remarkable difference in just one day. My beloved husband seemed happier and even expressed his gratitude, mentioning what a fantastic day it had been. Although he may not be aware of the changes specifically, I believe he can sense the positive impact on our relationship. This book truly works wonders, and Lysa's advice is absolutely invaluable.
I was looking for guidance on how to genuinely and practically love my husband and strengthen our marriage. It's clear that this book has a strong spiritual foundation, and it has resonated with me so much that I plan on reading it again in the future.
I didn't enjoy it, too focused on men being in control and women being submissive. I can't recommend it. Men and women should be loved and respected equally.
This audiobook offers numerous valuable insights that can be implemented right away. I really appreciate Lisa's frankness; she resonates with me as a wife who sometimes falls short but aspires to improve because my partner deserves it. It serves as a wonderful reminder of what truly matters in our daily existence and provides guidance on fostering a successful marriage as intended by God.
I gotta say, this book totally gives you a whole new way of looking at things. What I really dig is how the author went out and did some surveys and actually talked to men. I've tried out a few of the exercises and they seem to be doing the trick. I can feel that this book is gonna be a game-changer in my relationship. Plus, the narrator's voice is easy to listen to and just sounds nice in my ears.
