I absolutely love this prequel! I'm really happy that it's out there for us to enjoy. I first met Carter in Murder Mamas, and I'm thrilled to now dive into his own story. This series is going to be amazing, no doubt about it! Thank you so much!

The character is introduced nicely, but the book felt too brief. It would have been better if it was included as a prologue in the first book of the series.

I can't find anything negative to mention about this book, it's definitely worth giving a listen. Let me tell you, it did not let me down at all!

I was not really that into this book, it was kind of hard to follow, it would go from one person the the next and I felt like I was missing pieces of information that I needed to understand what was going on. As far as the narrators go the girl was great but it was just to weird when the guy tried to impersonate a females voice, when he did the guys part he was great. All in all I would not really recommend this book to someone else.
