The author did a bang-up job with their meticulous research and writing in 'Cleopatra: A Life'. They really brought the events of two thousand years ago to life and provided a thorough description of the characters. The narrator did a stellar job as well, skillfully emphasizing and pacing the reading in a way that was really pleasing. I've been raving about this audiobook to all my friends, highly recommending it.
I can't believe I wasted one of my precious credits on this book. It feels like I'm reading a boring history book, except it's not even based on real facts. I would absolutely love to get my credit back. It's such a letdown :(
