Carl Sagan does an amazing job of breaking down the mysteries of the cosmos in a way that anyone can understand. It's truly a masterpiece of scientific literature that still holds its own even after three decades. That being said, if I had to choose, I'd lean towards suggesting the newer Cosmos TV series hosted by Neil Degrasse Tyson.
I found the book to be incredibly fascinating, however, the narration came across as excessively exaggerated and challenging to comprehend. It's no surprise that the audio preview didn't include it.
