This book really threw me off when it came to my faith. It's like it tripped me up and made me doubt. The way it was written kind of shifted my mindset, making me more judgmental towards others instead of having a loving attitude. Instead of keeping the spotlight on God, it shifted the attention to what I'm supposed to do for God.
I was really pumped going into this, but there were parts where I felt some biblical disagreements. The book seemed to promote a lifestyle of poverty, but that's not something God has explicitly commanded. However, Francis does push you to step out in faith, which I appreciated.
