Another astounding creation from Carolla! Can't wait for Adam to kick off his next literary adventure. Make sure to drop it soon, preferably in June 2022. Thanks a bunch!
Adam's books are consistently a blast and packed with valuable insights. This particular book is no exception, and what's more, Adam himself narrates it. The quality is exceptional, and if I had the option, I'd give it a stellar six-star rating. Bravo, Adam!
I've been tuning in to the ace man for quite some time now, but for some reason, I overlooked this book. Boy, was that a major blunder. The raw truthfulness about life and the paternal guidance he gives to his kids, as well as ours, will definitely improve all of our lives. He doesn't sugarcoat things, that's for sure... unless you're someone who easily gets scared. You gotta grab a copy of this book, my friend!
The author consistently delivers exceptional work in 'Daddy, Stop Talking: And Other Things My Kids Want But Won't Be Getting'. The stories are fantastic and there is an abundance of valuable life advice. It feels incredibly relatable throughout.
The book 'Daddy, Stop Talking: And Other Things My Kids Want But Won't Be Getting' carries valuable messages about the significance of earning instead of receiving things. Adam Carolla effectively delivers this message through his writing. However, it should be noted that this book may not be suitable for those who adhere to political correctness.
I didn't actually read the book, but it seems like the audiobook version has a lot of additional commentary. My husband downloaded it for a road trip, and it reminded me of seeing the author's live show. It's filled with cynicism, humor, and personal anecdotes that give insight into the author's life. It really kept us engaged and we had a good laugh, even though I was just complaining about "Mama" nicknames for little girls before the trip. It was a strange coincidence that my thoughts were echoed in this audiobook by a cynical old man, but it added to its charm.
The author reminds me of my boss, who is an older man from the same generation as Carolla. Despite my boss often telling me to be less cynical, there's something undeniably appealing about that generation and their interesting stories. Overall, I give it 4 stars because once was enough for me.
Everyone should have this mindset, it's absolutely brilliant! This is a must-read, no doubt about it. I used to think I was the only one who shared these thoughts, but Ace has really hit the nail on the head here. Amazing job!
You've gotta check out all of Adam's books, man. Reading them is cool and all, but let me tell you, having the ace man himself narrate, go on tangents, and add his own flavor to the stories is seriously priceless. Thanks for yet another awesome book, Adam.
As someone who thoroughly enjoys Carolla's work, this book definitely lives up to expectations. If you appreciate his brand of witty and perceptive humor, then this is surely right up your street.
