This story was a struggle for me. I didn't particularly enjoy Lola, finding her to be incredibly irritating. As a result, it became quite challenging to stay engaged while listening to the audiobook.
I feel like 'Dark Wild Night' could have been shorter, more like a novella. The writing itself was solid, but I thought the main focus of the story wasn't as clear as it could have been. It was just a bit too intense for my liking. The characters' emotions seemed exaggerated and inconsistent with their actions. I'm honestly unsure about how I truly feel about this one.
I absolutely adored every single minute of 'Dark Wild Night'! It had me squealing with excitement! These two authors are absolute legends when it comes to crafting captivating stories. The narration was absolutely flawless, hitting all the right notes. I can't wait to dive back into this series over and over again.
