I'm glad to say that in "Defiant Queen," we finally get a protagonist who isn't an absolute scumbag. I absolutely adored this book, with its powerful leading man and equally strong leading lady. She doesn't put up with any nonsense from him. This series has captured my heart and I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment.
I'm curious about what's up with Meghan March's writing style in 'Defiant Queen' and the choice of narrators. It's making me reconsider spending my money on her books and maybe just sticking to Kindle. It's a shame because I genuinely enjoyed her previous works.
You're gonna be hooked on this entire trilogy. It's written damn well, full of suspense and gets you right in the feels. Meghan March sure knows how to pen a damn good book!
