The stories in 'Different Seasons' were absolutely mind-blowing. Both 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'Stand By Me' remained faithful to the original tales, so there wasn't much new to discover about them. However, the other two stories were phenomenal and incredibly engaging.
This collection of stories, 'Different Seasons', is a prime example of excellent storytelling by one of America's most dependable authors. Out of all the tales, my personal favorite was the unsettling and somewhat extraordinary "The Breathing Method". While it may not have the same level of complexity as the other stories, it certainly offers a great deal of entertainment.
