Summary

It isn't easy being Sunday's child, not when you're the rather overlooked and unhappy youngest sibling to sisters named for the other six days of the week. Sunday's only comfort is writing stories, although what she writes has a terrible tendency to come true. When Sunday meets an enchanted frog who asks about her stories, the two become friends. Soon that friendship deepens into something magical. One night, Sunday kisses her frog goodbye and leaves, not realizing that her love has transformed him back into Rumbold, the crown prince of Arilland - and a man Sunday's family despises. The prince returns to his castle, intent on making Sunday fall in love with him as the man he is, not the frog he was. But Sunday is not so easy to woo. How can she feel such a strange, strong attraction to this prince she barely knows? And what twisted secrets lie hidden in his past - and hers?

  • This audiobook is absolutely fantastic, with a captivating story and a delightful narration. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm eager to delve deeper into the lives of the entire family. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more Nora Roberts books featuring this amazing family.
  • I reached the end of the book, but now, a few days later, I can hardly recall any positive aspects it might have had. Instead, what sticks in my mind is the cheap and trashy side of the story, filled with excessive passion, bare chests, and the like. It seems like this book is aimed at readers who crave indulgence in fantasy and sex, rather than genuine romance. It's a lightweight and superficial recipe that caters to the desires of sugar-holics. There must be plenty of desperate readers out there! This was my first experience with Norah Roberts, and I can confidently say it will be my last. However, I must admit that the narrator did a good job.
  • I really enjoyed this story, it's one that I have fond memories of reading in the past. The characters are well-developed, the setting creates a captivating atmosphere, and the concept behind it all is intriguing. The narration was solid, although the female voices could have been a bit stronger. All in all, it was a pleasant experience to listen to.
