  • The narrator did a solid job, although he stumbled a bit with the pronunciation of certain cities in North Dakota and Vietnam. However, this minor detail doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the story.
  • This is truly an incredible narrative from an insider's viewpoint. The level of detail presented by the author is genuinely captivating. What makes it even more intriguing is the unique perspective it offers on certain individuals involved. Surprisingly, it was refreshing to discover positive aspects about Vice President Agnew, considering how history has often treated him unfairly compared to others who faced much more severe accusations. However, I must admit that the narration didn't quite resonate with me, although expressing exactly why is difficult for me to articulate.
  • This book is absolutely fantastic. I gave it a listen on the service and had such a great time. The author is a true pro, sharing his personal experiences and presenting the facts without any political bias. It was such a relief to not have to listen to the kind of trashy speculation that's so prevalent in today's news. The book left a lasting impression on me, and I find myself thinking about it long after I finished it. Plus, I feel like I've learned so much more about our presidential history, especially from the years spanning from my birth up until Ford's presidency.
  • I had high hopes for this book, anticipating an immersive dive into the lives of the five presidents. However, what I got was mostly an autobiography of the author, which didn't quite align with my interests.
