Summary

I'm a fan of mysteries, but I could definitely do without the overly sentimental love story in the background. It just doesn't float my boat. I mean, sure, a dash of romance is fine, but this book took it to a whole new level of sappiness. On the bright side, the murder mystery aspect of the novel was right up my alley. Unfortunately, I wasn't too thrilled with the narrator. Maybe it was her voice that intensified the sappy vibe for me.
All the characters in the audiobook 'Forgotten Secrets' were portrayed by the narrator as if they were always complaining and in a state of constant emotional distress.
I'm not a fan of this book. It's just too predictable and the love story is incredibly cheesy. I found myself constantly rolling my eyes at every little thing.
