The good news: Zoey's friends have her back again and Stevie Rae and the red fledglings aren't Neferet's secrets any longer. The bad news: Ancient evil with the face of an angel has been let loose - that and various other nasties (whose faces aren't so angelic). Grandma Redbird is in trouble. Heath is in trouble. The House of Night is in trouble. Okay, let's face it - Zoey's whole world is in trouble! But when the trouble comes from a being who appears to be beauty personified, will the world believe it? • I really miss the original narrator because she had a distinct way of portraying the characters, and her voice didn't come across as childish. Despite that, I still enjoy this series. However, it's important for me to focus on the story itself rather than the actor. I understand that it's not always possible to have the same narrator, but it would be great if there was a better process for selecting male voices, as they didn't quite fit with the overall tone. The narrator did a good job with southern accents and older female characters, but it was disappointing when the voice for the main character was different. After all, she's a 17-year-old young woman, not a child, so it shouldn't be so difficult to find a suitable voice for her.
  • I really enjoyed reading the previous books in the House of Night series, so naturally, I had high hopes for "Hunted." However, I was a bit disappointed with the choice of narrator in this audiobook. In my opinion, the voice didn't quite match the character, resulting in the characters sounding more whiny than like typical girls dealing with their situation.
  • I found the "House of Night" series to be just as enjoyable as the "Twilight" series in terms of forming a connection with the well-crafted characters created by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. I particularly appreciated the narration by Jenna Lamia, which I found to be even better in the last two books compared to the first three. Overall, all five books were fantastic and I can see myself listening to them repeatedly. Many thanks to the authors for these captivating stories. I'm eagerly looking forward to another installment in the series.
  • I first read this series back in high school, and now I'm revisiting it for the spin-off series. It feels like I'm experiencing it all over again, as if it's my first time reading it. And let me tell you, it's just as incredible as I remembered.
  • This audiobook was absolutely amazing! I'm a huge fan of service books, but there are only a few that truly captivate me, and this one definitely falls into that category. I couldn't put it down, and I can't wait to continue the series. After reading the first book, I immediately purchased every single title in the series, along with any related titles. I'm in shock at how good it is - it's the best on all levels. I'm willing to pay more for each title, even more than a credit, because it's worth it. I think this series deserves an award for being the best in its genre. If you're a fan of Twilight, True Blood, or the Shade series by Bella Forrest, then you'll definitely enjoy this. I'm always on the lookout for fantasy and vampire-related books with constant twists and turns and a touch of romance between supernaturals. Now I'm excited to start listening to book 6. Trust me, if you enjoy this genre, you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't be leaving this review if I didn't truly believe that.
