After reading this book, I find myself pondering about my life as I approach the age of 52. It has inspired me to make some important decisions about the direction I want to take in the next phase of my journey.
I absolutely adored this book! Terry's story was incredibly captivating, and I found myself completely immersed in the narrative. The overall plot was truly remarkable, leaving me in awe.
Getting through 'I Almost Forgot About You: A Novel' was a bit of a challenge, but I'm relieved it's finally done. It was a bit confusing at times, making it hard to keep up with the plot. However, the overall storyline was quite intriguing.
I'm sure everyone's reaction will depend on their current circumstances, but personally, I found the overall narrative somewhat disheartening. Furthermore, the lack of variation in the delivery of the audiobook only added to this feeling.
I'm on my second round of listening to this amazing audiobook, and it's got me feeling all sorts of emotions - I'm laughing, crying, and getting inspired to make some changes in my life. It feels like this story is a perfect reflection of my own life, and I stumbled upon it about three months ago. It's become the soundtrack of my life, you know?
Terry McMillian is an absolute genius when it comes to storytelling, and for the second time, she's pulled me right into this narrative. There were moments when I just couldn't get out of my car because I was so captivated by the audio. It's hard to put into words how much this book resonates with me. I can already tell that I'll be revisiting it time and time again, until I've fully absorbed its wisdom and regained my zest for life and love.
I was a big fan of the author's previous works, but I must say, this particular book was a bit lackluster. It just didn't hold my interest, and I couldn't bring myself to complete it.
The storyline was pretty enjoyable, but I gotta be honest, Ms. McMillan's narration was a bit monotone, which made it tough to stay engaged until the end.
