The voices in this audiobook were really irritating, but the story itself was captivating and full of suspense. It constantly kept me on my toes, wondering what would happen next. However, I absolutely despised the way the performers portrayed the voices. It was so frustrating! Ugh.
I've listened to the entire book series, and this particular one didn't captivate me with its characters like the previous ones. Nonetheless, the storyline was solid, packed with great twists. In hindsight, I reckon I would have enjoyed reading the book more than listening to it.
I'm a huge fan of this series and I've devoured every single book in it, either by reading or listening. However, "I Know a Secret" didn't quite hit the mark for me. The plot felt lackluster and didn't offer any exciting twists or turns. And to be honest, the narrator didn't do justice to the Boston accents, which was quite disappointing.
