As someone who works in the field of immunology and enjoys spreading scientific knowledge, I must say that Philipp Dettmer has done a fantastic job with 'Immune'. I'm so impressed by it that I've purchased four copies already. I plan on distributing them to people who have been seeking information about vaccines and COVID. I'm even contemplating making it a mandatory read for my students.
I decided to purchase this book due to the incredible drawings created by the team, which I had witnessed on their YouTube channel and within the physical book. However, to my surprise, the illustrations were missing from the actual book. Typically, service books provide a PDF version containing the figures if they are included in the text.
Great story, well read. Recommended, if you like engaging plot and lots of excitement. Book three due on 11/20/12, will download immediately when available.
