After going through the initial two books, the narrator's performance in "Inner Harbor" fell short of expectations. It was disappointing to find that there was very little variation in the voices portrayed, which led to confusion and necessitated rewinding in order to comprehend the story. The lack of distinction between male and female voices was particularly noticeable, and there was a complete absence of a youthful tone for the character Seth. In all honesty, I haven't had to rewind a audiobook so frequently before, except for perhaps in the "Born In" series. My main objective was to finish this book quickly and move on to book 4, which features a different narrator. Hopefully, that will result in a more enjoyable listening experience.
I really liked listening to this tale about a guy who unexpectedly discovers love with a woman. The family dynamics and the strong desire to safeguard loved ones were aspects that I particularly enjoyed. I'm so excited to listen to the final installment of this series. The narrator absolutely nailed the reading of this story.

I genuinely empathized with the narrator throughout the entire narrative. It seemed like they could have used a sip of water and a brief pause to catch their breath from beginning to end. That's something I haven't encountered before. Apart from that small issue, I found great pleasure in the storyline and the unexpected turn of events that unfolded in this third installment.
I really liked the first two books in this series and thought the narration was great. However, I was a bit disappointed with the third book, it didn't live up to the standard set by the first two. And honestly, the narration in the third book was absolutely awful.
A great love story series. Hated to see it end. The guys are so "HE" men. Got to love it and Seth!! Once again drawn into a family and couldn't put it down
I knew this book was abridged when I rented it, but I had no idea how much of the sub-plot was taken out. I have read the book and needed something to help me through a long workday and this seemed like a good choice. WRONG! I spent my day grumbling about what was missing. I love Nora and read everything by her I can get my hands on, but I won't make the 'abridged' mistake again. Too frustrating.
