Summary
As far back as he can remember James Corden has only ever wanted to be in one place: in front of you, doing something to make you laugh, cry, shout, or giggle uncontrollably. At the age of 4, he grandstanded throughout his baby sister's christening, standing on a chair in front of the whole congregation, pulling faces and cracking everyone up.
I absolutely adored this book! James Corden has an incredible knack for sharing his personal journey in such a sincere and heartfelt manner, and it truly resonated with me. I cannot recommend this book enough - in fact, I would even go so far as to say it's a must-read!
Damn, this audiobook is off the charts! James, you're like the bomb diggity when it comes to being an actor, comedian, and host! I'm stoked to get my ears on another book where you spill the tea on your recent adventures. I gotta say though, I was kinda hoping for some juicy deets about your collaboration with Matt Smith. Nonetheless, this whole experience was mind-blowing!
He's totally upfront about being an asshole.
I completely changed my opinion of him, and it didn't touch on any of the things I was really interested in.
If you're a Carpool Karaoke lover, then you're already familiar with James' unique and hilarious style. This audiobook delves into the captivating story of how he cultivated his comedic prowess and also found success as a talented Broadway actor. There's definitely more to his skill set than just singing.
I was a bit skeptical about diving into the autobiography of a person who is relatively young, but to my surprise, I found myself rather captivated by it towards the end.
I thought the book wandered through mundane parts of the author's life. It felt like a run-of-the-mill story with a touch of luck. Maybe in a decade, he'll have gathered enough material for a solid autobiography.
