The book "Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter" can be a bit lengthy at times, which may result in losing track of certain ideas and connections. That's pretty much the main downside.
Liz Wizeman absolutely nails it with "Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter"! Her approach to leadership highlights the wealth of knowledge on handling challenges within an organization by encouraging insightful questions as a way to amplify talent, while also identifying and weeding out those who hinder progress. This book is a fantastic read!
I was quite let down by this book. It did offer some valuable insights here and there, but it felt like it kept going around in circles and repeating itself excessively. The organization of the key points was lacking as well. What struck me as odd was that the author kept quoting Bono multiple times, finally presenting it as if it were a fresh idea towards the end of the book. It left me scratching my head. Personally, I believe there are superior options available that are worth the investment of time and money.
The way we let diminishing behaviors hold back the growth of individuals and companies is not cool. Multipliers, on the other hand, can be like a helpful coach, guiding them to change their behavior for the better.
