  • I was really let down by 'My Husband's Wife'. The characters were definitely complex, but I found them unlikable throughout the entire story. And to top it off, the big reveal at the end was a total disappointment, especially after waiting for it for so long. Maybe my experience would have been different if I had read the book instead of listening to the audiobook and investing so much time into it.
  • This audiobook is like a rollercoaster ride with its numerous unexpected surprises. The characters are portrayed in a way that allows you to truly connect with them, whether it's through love or disdain. And the best part? The ending is both fulfilling and realistic.
  • Well, I just wasted 14 hours of my life with this book. It definitely wasn't worth the credit I spent on it. I honestly don't know why I pushed myself to finish it. Maybe I was hoping it would improve or that I would finally grasp the purpose of the author's story, but that hope never materialized. It didn't get any better for me, and I still can't figure out what the point of this whole story was supposed to be. It didn't fit into any specific genre like romance, thriller, or mystery. The only mystery here is why I subjected myself to such a detestable cast of characters. I couldn't stand any of them or feel any connection to them whatsoever. The only redeeming quality was Rosalyn Landor's narration. A skilled narrator can definitely elevate the listening experience, and she was the only reason I kept going. Ironically, if the narration had been as terrible as the story itself, I wouldn't have bothered to finish it.
  • I was really hoping for that moment of revelation, that "aha!" moment, but it never came. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of it. I can't even explain why I continued listening to it.
  • While there were certain parts that caught my interest, overall, the story seemed to wander aimlessly through the lives of the characters without any real impact. It was quite disappointing to see one of the seemingly important characters vanish without a trace in the second half, as if the author no longer found her necessary for advancing the plot. Hopefully, the author's next book will prove to be an improvement. I'll definitely be more cautious and thoroughly examine reader reviews before deciding to download it.
  • To be honest, this story dragged on and lacked excitement. It missed so many opportunities and didn't pick up until the end. The buildup to the climax was practically nonexistent. I hate to be negative, but the story was just alright. It was unnecessarily long and lacked substance. It had the potential to be much more thrilling, but instead, it was a snooze-fest.
  • I can't even begin to explain how much I disliked the storyline, it was just terrible. It's hard to believe that a 22-year-old would behave like a 10-year-old. The characters were all over the place and the plot twists were a major disappointment. Overall, it was just average and left me feeling extremely disappointed.
  • I might be to blame for having different expectations, but overall, I wouldn't really suggest this book to most people. When I started reading, I was really pumped for a thrilling murder mystery filled with unexpected twists and turns. At first, it seemed like the book was going in that direction, but then it took a detour and turned into a kind of melodramatic soap opera, with characters constantly wavering between being good and bad. Important plot elements seemed to vanish into thin air on a regular basis. Towards the end, I completely lost interest in all of the characters and found myself mainly irritated by the dumb choices they were making. Having said that, I have to give credit to the narrator – she was fantastic! Her ability to voice all the different characters was truly impressive. And even though I didn't care about the characters anymore, I still wanted to find out what happened in the end – which, I have to admit, isn't always the case with the other audiobooks I've listened to.
  • It was a good book although the plot twists were sometimes out of place. Some bits could've been omitted as there was no point. The narrator's accent was a bit annoying. In general it was good, just that.
  • Do not agree with positive reviews. Twists were silly and gratuitous. You can only suspend disbelief so far without some harder work from the author in fleshing out character and plot. Narration was sickly and annoying (and that was the good bits). Characters were shallow and cutout - not relatable or credible.
