The book itself was enjoyable, but I found the narrator's portrayal of the other characters, especially the female and foreign characters, to be irritating and unnecessary.
I really enjoyed this book and the narrator did a fantastic job. It's a deeply poignant and emotional memoir. Towards the end, I felt that some of the situations were repetitive, but that's just how real life can be sometimes.
