The futuristic elements and romantic aspects come across as immature. It feels like the author used this book as an opportunity to criticize right-wing religious politicians for their hypocrisy, which isn't exactly groundbreaking information. I was hoping for something more original.
I decided to give this book a shot after seeing it on a list of the top 10 most captivating series. However, I personally found it to be quite disappointing as it didn't live up to its reputation. In my opinion, the story was poorly executed and failed to provide any real entertainment value. I would advise others to avoid wasting their time on this cliché and unimpressive piece of writing.
I stumbled upon an audio book by J.D. Robb, featuring Lt. Eve Dallas, while browsing through a store, and now I'm totally hooked. This book is a thrilling rollercoaster ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat, constantly second-guessing yourself. It's an amazing series that you just can't get enough of.
