  • I really adore this audio bible! I've gone through the bible a couple of times by reading, but when I listen to this audio book, it brings the bible to life for me. It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but there are times when I read my bible, and it makes me feel sleepy. However, when I listen to this audiobook, it keeps me engaged. The narrators and the background sounds are fantastic. I load it on my iPod and listen while I clean my house or work in the yard, and it helps me feel more connected to God. This is definitely worth a credit in my opinion!
  • In the book 'The Word of Promise Complete Audio Bible: NKJV', they made a deliberate choice to remove the phrase "Then God said" that appears multiple times in Genesis chapter one. - Joseph C. Carbone, III; May 18, 2019
  • I've been listening to this audio Bible and it's absolutely amazing. I'm a fan of the Amplified Bible, but this version is completely different as it's dramatized and incredibly well-done. It's like listening to an audio version of a movie. They've managed to capture the essence of each book and chapter, with the voices and music immersing you in the story and conveying God's message in a way that no other dramatized version has achieved. I have other versions, but when they say, "In the beginning God created...," the way the text is pronounced with the orchestra makes you truly understand the significance of the event. I initially got it for the Old Testament because some passages can be hard to focus on, but the Amplified Bible is great for connecting with God in devotional passages. As I listened to it, I gained a deeper respect for God. I realized that He not only controls everything but also created it all with a purpose. There's a scene where Cain tells God that he fears being killed by anyone who comes across him due to his punishment, and God's response feels so real. God establishes that if anyone were to harm Cain, their punishment would be seven times greater. It was conveyed in such a genuine way that I found myself having a conversation with God about His mercy, and He reminded me that it was justice. When it comes to the flood and the animal sacrifices after leaving Egypt, it's heartbreaking to see that despite God being a wonderful Father, people were so focused on worldly desires and distractions like the forbidden fruit. They were completely unaware that God is what truly matters. This audio Bible made me feel so close to God. The Psalms, in particular, are incredibly intimate. The narrator's voice has a slight raspiness that sounds beautifully melodic and intimate with God. It's truly a blessing. Overall, I can only describe the impact of this audio Bible as "wow." Everyone should listen to it, as it will bless every aspect of your life and help you understand God's ability and love to give you an abundant life.
