  • I wouldn't recommend keeping this book in your collection. If you're dealing with depression, it's important to note that there isn't anything groundbreaking or insightful within these pages. The author, who claims to be a spiritual teacher, provides very few valuable insights. Personally, I regret spending my money on this book.
  • I had loads of "aha" moments while listening to this audiobook. Tolle repeatedly explains how to put an end to suffering. I've gone through it twice and made sure to jot down important points. The final chapter really struck a chord with me. I highly suggest giving it a listen if you're seeking inner peace.
  • I really enjoyed The Power of Now, but Practicing the Power of Now feels like unnecessary repetition. Why would Eckhart want to make us pay twice? My suggestion is to skip this one and stick with the original.
  • I can't express enough how much of a godsend this book is, along with the complete Power of Now text. After spending 68 years on this planet, I have finally stumbled upon "THE MISSING MANUAL FOR THE HUMAN MIND." This incredibly impactful text offers invaluable insights into the mind, emotional intelligence, and the deeper meaning behind the teachings of the world's greatest ancient religions, particularly Jesus. Both this book and the Bible hold the key to living a life filled with joy, inner peace, happiness, and "the Peace of God." The effort it takes to fully absorb and internalize this material is absolutely worth it. Just as Eckhart mentions, "Have you had enough pain?"
  • As soon as I completed it, I immediately began again!!! I can see myself revisiting this material multiple times. I believe that everyone can gain something valuable from the profound teachings presented in this book. I am immensely thankful for the impact its message has had on my life.
  • This audiobook is a game-changer in helping individuals grasp the concept that time has no real significance; all that truly matters is the present moment. Once this profound realization takes hold, it paves the way for a more fulfilling and meaningful existence. Moreover, this audiobook proves to be a valuable resource in addressing mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression.
  • This audiobook offers a refreshing perspective that is easily comprehensible, serving as a viable alternative to conventional psychology. By letting go of the past and future, it opens up the opportunity to focus on the present and make choices that contribute to a more fulfilling and "beautiful" life. It encourages us to view the mind/brain as a tool, allowing us to take control and empower ourselves.
  • Have you tried listening to Eckhardt Tolle’s: Practicing The Power of Now recordings? I find them most useful as a means to become centred, conscious and present and therefore the antithesis of depressed. A good platform to build on.
