The way the plot is laid out in 'Pretty Baby: A Novel' is so captivating that it immediately grabs your attention. However, I reached a point where the intensity became overwhelming and I had to take a break from listening.
I absolutely loved how this book progressively improved as the story unfolded. The narrators were superb, which is quite challenging, especially when dealing with strong accents. The way the book was crafted and presented was incredibly professional. For me, a true testament to a good book is when it becomes impossible to put down, and I found myself listening to it whenever I could. Kudos to Mary Kubica and the talented narrating team. A solid 5-star rating from me!
