I totally regretted using up a credit on this one. Major letdown. The narrator's sarcastic attitude just came across as totally unnecessary. It didn't provide any helpful insights at all.

I didn't really enjoy the author's perspective or opinion on the subject. It felt like they had a negative view of women. In my opinion, the book wasn't worth the time or money.

I was really excited about reading 'The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands', hoping to gain some valuable insights about men and discover new ways to strengthen my marriage. However, after listening to the entire book, I was quite let down. Dr. Laura seems to harp on the same point throughout the entire duration, emphasizing how some women prioritize their own needs and desires, as well as those of their children, but neglect their husbands, causing unhappiness in men. Well, no kidding. Unless you happen to be that kind of woman and are unaware of it, this book doesn't really offer much value. It only serves as a wake-up call for those who need a reminder to be kinder to their husbands. From my perspective, this book was both tedious and unhelpful, and it seemed to have a negative tone towards women in general. I regret wasting my time and service credit on this book.
