I was totally engrossed in the character's voices! It's amazing how unusual situations can bring together such different individuals. This aspect of the war was completely new to me.
I really enjoyed reading 'Salt to the Sea' as it shed light on a lesser-known topic that many people are unaware of. Even though I consider myself well-read, I had no prior knowledge of it. The characters in the book were fantastic, and the narration by four performers was spot-on. It's definitely a book that is worth the investment.
I never imagined that there would be a book worse than Girl on a Train, but unfortunately, Salt to the Sea takes the prize. This book lacks any substantial plot, offers minimal suspense, and presents dreadfully dull characters. The only aspect worth mentioning is the historical event it is based on, which I did learn about.
