Summary

I absolutely loved 'Snow Like Ashes'! The plot is incredible, the characters are well-developed and relatable, and the narration is spot-on. Without a doubt, this has become one of my all-time favorite books after reading it. I highly recommend it to others! Unlike certain YA novels that can be overly predictable, this one is refreshingly unique.
I was definitely engaged throughout the book and stuck with it until the end. However, it didn't compel me to dive into the rest of the series. While it is categorized as a fantasy novel, it seemed to focus more on warfare, weaponry, and the politics of the kingdom, rather than exploring fantastical elements. If those themes interest you, then you'll likely enjoy it!
Personally, I found it difficult to truly invest myself in Mira's kingdom, which was supposed to be the central motivation behind saving it.
