These books are so engaging and intense that you won't be able to put them down, even if it means losing sleep or being tardy to work. They're absolutely perfect!

However, it's frustrating that they only release these individual parts, leaving readers wanting more. It's almost Christmas, and there's still no follow-up? Come on, guys! It's not like you're unaware of how addictive these books are. Can we please have the next installment?
The plot of 'Star Wars: Specter of the Past: The Hand of Thrawn, Book 1' is lackluster, but the narrator does a commendable job. As a fan of the original Thrawn trilogy, I decided to give it a go. Although the characters are all recognizable, the story falls short and feels quite average compared to its predecessors.
Zhan has once again crafted a captivating novel that beautifully portrays each character. For me, this book feels like the true continuation of episodes 8 and 9.
To be honest, I’m a huge Star Wars enthusiast, you could even call me a die-hard fan. It's safe to assume that I'm not particularly fond of Disney's Sequel Trilogy. However, I absolutely adore the old books because I truly believe that they depict what should have occurred after the events of Return Of The Jedi. Kudos to the author and the studio for bringing this epic masterpiece to life. It's truly commendable work.
Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novels have set the bar high for captivating tales within the franchise. This duology provides an insightful exploration of the flaws in some of the alternate universe storylines, while also delving deep into the complex character of Luke Skywalker in an original manner. Zahn's talent in creating powerful and distinct female characters often goes unnoticed, which is a shame considering how exceptional they are. As always, Zahn's narratives are a joy to read, and this particular installment is no exception. Marc Thompson's narration is splendid, especially his portrayal of Luke Skywalker, and his ability to give each character a unique voice adds to the overall experience. I would gladly purchase this audiobook solely for Thompson's performance, and I eagerly anticipate his involvement in future Star Wars projects.
