    The story of 'The Cafe by the Sea: A Novel' is quite captivating and the setting is beautifully portrayed. The overall performance of the audiobook is great, although the American accent could use some improvement as it was not up to par.

    I really enjoyed the storyline of this book, although I have to admit that the American accents of the narrators were quite poor, which was a bit distracting. Apart from that, it was an enjoyable read!

    Out of all the books by Jenny Colgan, 'The Cafe by the Sea: A Novel' ranks as my least favorite thus far. While the narrator did a decent job overall, I found their attempt at an American accent to be quite subpar.

    I really wish I had the inside scoop on the whereabouts of this island -- assuming it even exists. The way it's described, it seems like an absolute paradise, absolutely breathtaking and welcoming. I can't help but daydream about paying a visit! This book truly hits all the right notes, providing a sense of comfort and delight throughout.

    Ms. Colgan has once again delivered an excellent novel with "The Cafe by the Sea." It captivated me from start to finish, evoking strong emotions that made me both cry and laugh. Additionally, the baking element woven into the storyline added an extra layer of enjoyment. Overall, it was a fantastic read!

    The plot of the book was quite foreseeable and at times uninteresting. However, the Scottish and English accents were executed well, while the American accent was absolutely dreadful. Additionally, the voice used for the child character was incredibly grating, forcing me to skip ahead whenever it came up. Overall, this novel was a letdown since it lacked the complexity and pace found in the author's other works.

    If you're looking for a break from dense nonfiction, 'The Cafe by the Sea: A Novel' is a great choice to listen to. The Scottish accent in the audiobook is really soothing, but unfortunately, the American accent is quite terrible and takes away from the overall enjoyment.
