I absolutely adored it, just like I was completely hooked on the previous installments and I have no doubt that I will continue to be captivated by the future ones.
I devoured this book in just twenty-four hours! It had me completely engrossed and hanging on every word! Now I'm eagerly diving into the next installment, Cartel 6, with fingers crossed that it lives up to my high expectations. So far, this series has me hooked and I can't get enough!
Oh man, this series keeps getting better and better! I absolutely loved Fly Boogie's character until the very end. He was so gritty and intense, damn! It was satisfying to see Mia take down Yasmine, but now Carter's going to face the consequences. He should've been straight up with Mia from the start. It may not have changed her thirst for revenge, but at least she would've been in the know. I really hope Carter survives, I'm rooting for him!
I'm seriously itching to dive into Carter 6 now because this ending left me hanging on the edge of my seat! One word: Murder... Seriously, what the actual f***?!
I absolutely adore this storyline, The Cartel is hands down one of the most incredible series I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It truly captivates me.
The Cartel 5: La Bella Mafia is extremely predictable and seems to have no clear conclusion. It gets to a point where you just feel like giving up on the entire series.
I feel you, man. I'm just so over these constant resurrections and revivals, especially when it comes to murder. For real, though? Nobody else was there to intervene and save him? It's like sometimes the author goes a bit overboard. But aside from that, and despite the craziness of shooting up your own brother's wedding, I gotta admit, it was one of the more captivating and engaging stories out there.
Cary Hite is absolutely amazing when it comes to narrating. He has this incredible ability to make the story come alive. I would gladly listen to anything he chooses to read!
