When 'The Druid of Shannara' was released, I recall reading it and now I've recently experienced it again as an audiobook. I must say, the performance was truly enjoyable.
The author seems to be unaware of the true meaning behind the phrase "inspite of himself," despite its frequent and repetitive usage throughout the book.
I had a good time reading this book, although I feel like it's not one of Terry Brooks' top-notch works. There were times when it was a bit difficult to catch everything because the narrator had a tendency to mumble his words at the end of sentences.
