Summary

    This story is fantastic. It provides a highly entertaining backstory for the characters from the saga. I can't say for sure how closely it aligns with Puzo's original vision, but I have a feeling he would give it his seal of approval. However, the real standout of this book is the narration. As someone who listens to a ton of audiobooks and rarely writes reviews, I felt compelled to praise the outstanding performance of the narrator. Their ability to voice each character was truly remarkable. Overall, this is a great book with an equally great performance.

    Absolutely required reading for any Godfather aficionado! Answers all the questions about how Vito Corleone came to have so much power. The narrator is wonderful, brings this to life and make it so enjoyable that I can listen to over and over again.
