I really enjoyed listening to 'The Fixer Upper'. The narrator was seriously skilled, with their ability to nail different accents and bring unique voices to each character. Speaking of characters, they were quite fascinating too. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed when there was no epilogue. I was really looking forward to hearing how things wrapped up for the other characters.
I'm absolutely obsessed with this book. It's definitely one that I'll keep coming back to. It's a light and enjoyable listen that doesn't require too much effort. The characters' interactions are top-notch and really add to the overall experience. Maybe it's just the perfect book for this moment in time, but either way, it's definitely worth the money and time invested. I've already recommended it to several of my fellow bookworms. Ella Kate and Shorty are my absolute favorites.
