  • I hadn't heard of the author before, but I absolutely loved this audiobook. It had me laughing so hard, not just a little chuckle, but a constant laughter all the way through the story. It's definitely going on my list of favorites and I can't wait to listen to it again. The narrators did an excellent job as well. I highly recommend using a credit or purchasing it. Enjoy!
  • This book was quite enjoyable to me. It took some time for me to warm up to Adam, but once he began to relax a bit, I found myself getting more into the story. Initially, I didn't feel any connection with the characters and almost gave up on listening, but I continued because I'm a big fan of Joe Arden. Madeline, on the other hand, won me over with her kind heart. The moment Adam let his guard down and started treating her better, the story improved significantly. From that point on, I really liked their romance. The narration was fantastic, and I loved it.
  • I had no clue that this book featured characters from the previous installment, "Anything you can do". What a pleasant surprise! I absolutely adored this book. It was absolutely adorable, filled with humor, and the protagonist couldn't catch a break - everything that could go wrong, did. She's got this amazing dog who was rescued, and he completely transforms her life for the better! To top it off, she ends up colliding with the attractive new veterinarian in town. This book had me laughing out loud and left me with such a heartwarming feeling after listening to it.
  • I've listened to a bunch of audiobooks and I've given star ratings before, but I've never actually written out my honest review. Usually, I'm a fan of R.S. Grey's writing, but this particular book didn't do it for me. While it had its funny moments and the narration was solid, the main male character, Adam, was pretty mean to the female lead, Madeline. I get that he had concerns about her dog at first, but he consistently belittled her in multiple encounters, even in his own thoughts. He didn't seem to have a high opinion of Madeline and didn't show her much respect, while she rarely stood up for herself. It wasn't until the last two chapters that we saw any glimpse of a softer side or genuine care from him, and even then, it wasn't enough. There wasn't a clear resolution or a proper fresh start. This time, the supposed happy ending didn't feel happy to me. Instead, it was stressful and left me feeling unresolved, despite him suddenly being romantic and professing his love as she walked out the door. I wanted him to express his love and show appreciation and compassion for her much earlier, so that she could realize her worth. I know it's just a story and a single book, but I'm disappointed and in need of a quick feel-good read to lift my spirits.
  • I had a good chuckle several times while listening to 'The Foxe & the Hound' and it definitely satisfied my craving for a happy ending. The level of sensuality was just right as well. I'm inclined to give a few more of this author's stories a go after this. The narrators did a fantastic job, Joe Arden was absolutely flawless!!
  • The Foxe & the Hound had its ups and downs in terms of storytelling. There were some funny and emotionally charged moments, but unfortunately, they didn't quite hit the mark, possibly due to the way they were presented. Ms. Christian's performance was decent, but it would have been even better if Amanda Ronconi or CJ Bloom (also known as Carly Robbins) had taken on the role. On the other hand, J Arden's performance was consistently excellent, as expected.
  • The book was alright, but the guy who narrated it was pretty terrible. Maybe he's just not used to doing romantic comedies. Other than that, the book was decent. I might even try to get my money back because the male narrator was that bad!
  • The start is absolutely fantastic. I'm really digging the way the story unfolds. However, things take a turn for the worse later on. Adam starts behaving really manipulative, and what's worse is that Madeline seems to brush it off as if it's no big deal. Honestly, it completely spoiled the whole experience for me. I could only make it halfway through because it honestly felt like reliving the nightmare of dealing with toxic exes.
  • I absolutely adored this book! It had me laughing out loud, experiencing the characters' emotions, and the story was absolutely adorable. I stumbled upon this book while looking for audiobooks narrated by Luci Christian, and I must say, I was not let down! She really brings the characters to life, and I could totally connect with the sarcasm and range of emotions she conveys throughout the story!
  • Getting through 'The Foxe & the Hound' was quite a struggle. While there were a few humorous moments, I found it challenging to root for the female lead character. Her immaturity proved to be quite exasperating.
