In fact, I was so concerned about the author's perspective that I even took to the internet to confirm my suspicions, which were unfortunately confirmed by the revelation that the author is male. If you enjoy books like "Fifty Shades of No Self-Respect" and have an interest in exploring the minds of deeply damaged characters, particularly women, then this might be a suitable read for you. However, it is important to note that the author does not possess the same level of skill as Gillian Flynn.
