I found "The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence" to be quite similar to Deepak Chopra's other book on synchro destiny, which I really liked. However, this audiobook shares the same information but is presented by Deepak in a more monotonous and uninteresting manner. Unfortunately, I had a hard time getting through it.
The main idea of this book is fantastic, but it doesn't translate well into an audiobook format. Since there are meditation exercises that require full concentration, it's best to have the physical book. This way, you can easily refer back to previous chapters for a better understanding.
While it's a nice touch to have the author narrate their own work, it's important to acknowledge that audiobook narration is an art form and not everyone excels at it. Deepak Chopra is a talented writer, but his narration skills are lacking. The delivery was monotonous and hard to fully engage with. At best, it was a forgettable performance, and at worst, it was quite irritating.
However, despite these shortcomings, I will still keep this audiobook as a companion to the hardcopy.
If you don't believe in a higher power and think that everything is just random and meaningless, or if you consider yourself a practical person who doesn't buy into spiritual ideas, or if you're simply searching for some evidence that this chaotic life we live actually has a purpose, then you should definitely give this audiobook a listen. It provides concrete proof that you are truly the embodiment of purpose and that you can genuinely discover passion in every single moment of your existence.
