I've read a majority of Stephen King's works and he is hands down my favorite author. However, with 'The Tommyknockers', I found myself losing interest after getting through about 75% of it. In fact, I became so bored that I ended up skipping ahead to the end. In an interview, I stumbled upon, King himself mentioned that this was the final book he wrote before overcoming his addiction, and he himself admitted it was a pretty terrible book. I have to say, I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment. Out of all his books, this is the only one that didn't resonate with me.
