Summary

    Finding the right words to commend such a courageous piece of work is a real challenge! I was completely engrossed in Jessica's tale, anxiously hoping for her eventual well-being and for her siblings to find solace. Her message to survivors of sexual and religious abuse and trauma surpasses what one would expect from someone her age or background, and her voice is both powerful and eloquent. Moreover, she is undeniably a remarkable writer!

    During my personal journey of healing, having experienced incest and CSA, I penned a poem titled The Invisible Girl. Jessica's mention of the invisible girls and boys instantly made me feel less isolated. I deeply appreciate her bravery in addressing this difficult subject and refusing to shy away from it.
