  • The standout moments in "Way of the Reaper: My Greatest Untold Missions and the Art of Being a Sniper" were the moments when the author's overseas decisions became crystal clear, and the valuable lessons he learned that helped him develop mentally upon returning home.
  • I really dig this guy, but I was expecting this book to delve more into the world of sniping, including the skills, training, and methods of an exceptional US sniper. To be honest, I wasn't particularly interested in reading his autobiography before diving into this book. I was hoping to get an in-depth look into the sniper stuff. However, he seems to focus a lot on battles that are unrelated to sniping. He barely touches upon his sniper training, and any skills associated with sniping are merely mentioned in passing. Nevertheless, I'll soldier on with this one out of respect, and I'll refrain from returning it. However, I must admit that I'm writing this review while it's still playing, and I don't feel like I'm missing out on much.
  • Irv comes across as an incredible sniper, and an even better individual. Our nation is truly grateful for his unwavering commitment to serving our country! He carries out his missions with precision and determination, never hesitating or showing any remorse.
  • I couldn't even make it halfway through this book, man. So disappointed! I was expecting an engaging account of sniper activity, but all I got was a bunch of poorly narrated war stories. Major letdown, bro.
  • I can't emphasize how much I love this book. As someone who's served in the military, it really resonates with me. It connects on a deep level that can only be comprehended by those who have experienced similar situations. Even if you haven't served, this book is priceless in helping you understand the lives of those who have.
  • This book consists of a collection of stories that are told with a touch of melodrama. However, after the eighth time the protagonist's hair stands up on the back of his neck, it starts to become repetitive. The main character is undeniably impressive, but when it comes to storytelling, he may not be the best... or perhaps it's the editor who has a cheesy touch.
  • I'm not much of a reader, but sniping has always fascinated me. This book, along with the author's personal experiences, helped me vividly imagine what it was like for Nick in the field. This book is truly amazing and I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!
