Man, let me tell you, this book is written with some serious skills, but damn, it's a total downer. I was hoping for even a tiny bit of hope or positivity, but nope, it just never showed up. It's definitely intriguing to get a glimpse into the mind of someone who feels like they're stuck with no way out. This ain't no uplifting read, but it's still done well.
This book is quite a downer. However, I really enjoyed the way it was narrated. Personally, I prefer stories with unexpected turns or ones that leave me feeling uplifted. Unfortunately, the tale of Jacob McNeely, who starts off in a difficult situation and only seems to sink further, didn't quite meet that criteria.
I really enjoyed the overall concept of the book 'Where All Light Tends to Go', particularly how the story was told through the perspective of the main character. The author successfully incorporated universal themes of pain, loss, and redemption, which added a symbolic depth to the narrative. The unexpected plot twists and suspenseful moments kept me engaged throughout. I am definitely interested in exploring more works by this author and will also check out other audiobooks narrated by the same narrator. This book was a fantastic production from start to finish.
