If you want to make your experience more enjoyable, I highly recommend finding a different narrator for "Whisper: How to Hear the Voice of God." The current one delivers the message in a very intense and overwhelming manner, almost like they're screaming. Personally, I found it difficult to continue listening to the audiobook due to this. It's a shame, though, because the content itself seems to convey a truly inspiring message.
I've gone through several of Mark's books and this one is hands down my top pick! It's so easy to follow, keeps you hooked, and offers real-life applications.
I had a tough time with this one. The narrator's voice felt kind of flat, like there was no emotion behind it. It made it really hard for me to get into the story, and I couldn't even finish the first chapter. I think I'm just going to go ahead and buy the physical book instead.
Some folks believe that certain messages should simply remain as they are...just messages, you know? Same goes for blog posts. In addition to the usual Christian catchphrases, this book was pretty average. Now, I gotta admit, I'm a fan of Mark's work, but this one isn't exactly my cup of tea. I'd say it's worth a read for someone who's new to the faith, but don't expect any groundbreaking ideas in here.
