Moreover, the author's tone came across as self-righteous and judgmental. If you're looking for a book solely on marriage, I wouldn't recommend this one.

There are multiple passages that could support different interpretations of what matters most to God. I also pondered whether Chan's viewpoints were sometimes influenced by his cultural background. Our perspective on life is often shaped by our family and cultural origins, as well as external influences. This book definitely stimulates thought, but readers should evaluate Chan's opinions against scripture before fully accepting them.
I absolutely adored this book! It really pushed me, but it had some super simple suggestions that were easy to put into practice. The audiobook was top-notch as well, making the whole experience even better!
